Description

Overview:

As a Dosimetrist at Invicro you will be a critical member of our growing Oncology & Systemic Disease Team. We are looking for a person with experience in internal radiation dosimetry, clinical trial and image acquisition protocols (i.e. theranostics), data and image quality, and image analysis. Strong organization and communication skills are required in the role to facilitate cross-departmental communication and external sponsor communications and presentations. Within the Dosimetrist role, you will contribute to, and manage, dosimetry analysis development and execution within oncology imaging clinical trial.

Responsibilities:

Radiation dosimetry support for clinical trials, especially theranostics

  • Internal consulting support for the Scientific & Medical Services Department
  • Study design & protocol development
  • Imaging timepoints, acquisition protocols, reconstruction methods
  • Gamma counter sampling and counting considerations
  • Sponsor interaction
  • Input on trial documentation : protocol, Technical Operations Manual (TOM), training, Imaging Review Charter (IRC) etc.

Dosimetry Analysis

  • Image and data analysis pipeline design, development & execution
  • Image and sample data quality control
  • PK modelling
  • Dosimetry calculation (OLINDA and others)
  • Development, management, and extension of validated, generalized dosimetry pipelines
  • Provide input on planning and execution of clinical site set ups for multi-site and multi-national studies.
  • Cross-team collaboration in support of dosimetry analysis and delivery.
  • Oversight and management of image analyst resources in support of dosimetry analysis and delivery.

BD Support

  • External facing (to Sponsors/customers)
  • Generation of content for sponsor presentations
  • Presentations of our capabilities to sponsors.
  • Provide input on dosimetry methods
  • Build upon and maintain the collaborative network with industry and academia including; SNMMI engagement, academic consultants.

Internal facing (to Invicro teams/departments)

  • Supporting marketing needs for promotion of Invicro dosimetry analytics
  • Support Business Development and other departments with cross-training and knowledge building on available dosimetry tools to support sales.

R&D Activities

  • Identification and development of new and novel methods for dosimetry analyses
  • Development of methods for improved estimates for novel beta and alpha tracers
  • Evaluation, extension, and execution of voxel-level dosimetry methods
  • Increased automation and utilization of new techniques, such as deep learning, to improve dosimetry efficiency and performance

Qualifications/Skills:

  • PhD in medical physics / imaging with 10+ years experience in dosimetry for clinical trials and/or in a clinical environment.
  • Experience in internal radiation dosimetry, specifically theranostics using PET/SPECT imaging in drug development.
  • Strong ability to work independently, and as part of a team spread across multiple sites and countries.
  • Experience in team leadership and mentorship of junior staff.
  • Strong ability to advocate to internal parties in support of company goals and targets.
  • Experience working in a GCP environment
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, javascript)
  • Deep image analysis experience (Vivoquant, MIM, MINT, PMOD, MIRCAT)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong scientific publication / presentation track record
