Description
Location: Northern California (Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto, Merced) – RELOCATION SUPPORT PROVIDED
Akumin is the largest employer of technologists in the nation with a fleet of mobile imaging coaches supporting all range of hospital partners. Our West region is seeking out a seasoned Lead PETCT tech to support clinical operations across multiple sites in the Northern California corridor as well as be a PETCT SME in the region for training, improving patient care, and ensuring highest quality clinical practices are being observed
Role specifics:
- Based in Northern California (very competitive relocation support provided)
- Scanning 3-4 days per week across multiple sites in the region (very competitive travel reimbursement / pay differential in place for longer commutes)
- Support onboarding and upskilling other PETCT techs in clinical best practices and patient care
- Support clinical process standardization and roll out, schedule optimization, and radiation safety across the region

Requirements
Position Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
- NMTCB or ARRT (N)
- State license, as required.
- CPR certification
- As applicable, valid state driver’s license.
- Experienced Nuclear Technologist with 3+ years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies working in high-pressure/high visibility environments with regular patient satisfaction surveys.
- Previous experience managing business relationships with physicians and customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and adapt to new environments quickly.
- Ability to work at several locations.
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
- 90% travel may be required.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Knowledge and experience on several OEMs and with multiple vendors such as GE, Siemens, Philips, etc
