- Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech
Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment to support patient diagnostic needs in a hospital setting.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in the state of practice.
- BLS certification.
- 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
- Experience working in a hospital nuclear medicine department.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SPECT and gamma camera imaging.
- Familiarity with radiopharmaceutical preparation and radiation safety protocols.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0800-1600.
- Work schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift.
- Expected hours: 40 per week.
